Seeing Any?

Just wanted to here how everyone is doing. I have been hunting two rub lines, that I found in early September, I have seen 3 bucks so far. My wife saw her first buck of the season Sunday evening.

I havent been out with the recurve....yet. Most likely, I will hunt with the recurve the last weekend in October. I did take a nice six (almost a seven) point buck with my compound on October 2nd. <----<<<

Swirling winds probably hurt me while hunting my litle funnel on opening day. I did see a doe and her young at 10 yds. I also saw a spike at 50 yds.
Early afternoon I got out of the side door of my van and then into the drivers door to move it back into some shade. The slamming door and starting the van spooked Mr. big from a small brush pile only fifty yds. from me.
40 cows were right next to the spot I wanted to hunt in the evening. I went to a different spot and did have 5 deer walk in on me.
Many htings did not go the way I wanted them to, but it was still nice to get into the woods.
