oakland county / Voorheis Lake

I was wondering if anybody knows if Voorheis Lake is a good lake to do some ice fishing. My Aunt and Uncle live on the lake and told me I could keep my shanty at their place for the winter.

I am looking for a good place to catch some perch through the ice.

Lake Voorheis is outstanding fishing from what I heard. Its private so not many fish the lake including me! I'm no sure about the Perch but their are HUGE pan fish and crappy... Good luck!

Not to hijack this thread but what are the good lakes in the Waterford/Highland area to ice fish?
