Question regarding uploading pic's - hen of the woods -

Hi, I am new to this forum, name is doug. I joined today and aside from my intro post, I have never posted here before. See below for relevance.

I went mushroom hunting for the first time today, armed with info I learned from this site and elsewhere. I was hunting "hen of the woods" and I think I found it. But I found 4 total, three look alike and were found around the same tree, the other was found about 100 yards away and looks different. I have the audubon society book, but as a novice its not much help.

I want to post the pics but without 15 posts I cannot post links to urls, which are the pic locations. Is this correct? Any other way to post pics? Thanks and sorry for posting here, I could not find anywhere else I thought was appropriate.

Hey, Snug you can link them from another site and post them. Such as photobucket or some other type of photo place.

I ran into the same issue. I tried your suggestion, fasthunter, and tried to post links to my photobucket account. It said I couldn't do that, either (post URLs), until I'd made 15 posts.

I understand the reasoning behind that requirement, I'm not complaining.
I guess I do, after all, have a year until the mushrooms I need ID'd pop up again LOL.

Yeap you have to make 15 posts. Then you can upload the pictures here or anywhere and put them in a thread.
