Here is a venison steak recipe that is great, and simple to make.
4 Healthy sized steaks
2tsps Olive Oil
1 Medium onion
1 can Mushroons
1tsp Crushed garlic
1/4 cup cooking sherry or brandy of choice
1 jar Hienze brown gravy
1/4cup Cream
1/4cup Cranberry sauce
Heat skillet with olive oil, lightly coat steaks in flour. Put steks in skillet and lightly brown and then remove. With olive oil and what ever brown remanants are left in skillet, add: chopped onions, crushed garlic, and sherry. Cook down the sherry and brown the onions and garlic. Turn the heat down and add the roons, brown gravy, cream, and then the cranberry sauce. Put the browned steaks in the suace, cover and simmer until the steaks are cooked to your taste.
You can serve it with rice, pasta or potatoes.
Let me knoe if you try it and what you think.
