minus 2 degrees this morning. Saginaw River getting more shantys every day. Wickes Park, Hooters, Bean Tower. Haven't checked by the Z-Bridge, I'll go by there on the way to work this afternoon. Down town Bay City from Hooters to the Vets Bridge pretty active. Indy Bridge has alot of guys fishing on both sides. Out by the River mouth had alot of guys out in front of the DNR launch.

Im gonna try to get out and fish the Z Bridge tomorow morning before I head to the auto show. Will post report.

There's still open water off Smith Park in Essexville. Careful if you go out guys. A) The ice on the river is very uneven. B) The coast gaurd (supposed to help keep people safe I thought :rolleyes: ) just came in with an ice breaker to let in a tanker.

there was 5 people fishin at the area of the zilwaukee boat launch friday night till 6:30. i think i was only one to have any hits. no fish were put on the ice all evening long. think i'll try at the island on sunday morning. oh ya an the ice was good at 6'' didnt go as far as the main channel tho but still was in 16' of water were we fished.
