I am a weekend warrior concerning ice fishing on the saginaw bay for walleye. I just picked up a used garmin etrex legend for 50 bucks. Did I get a good deal?:D

My two brothers and I all have Etrex Legends, all bought new. Mine still works find after 3-4 years of use. Both of my brothers are having issues with theirs. If theirs gets the slightest bump, it automatically turns off. I use mine for open water fishing and to find my deer blinds in the dark. Sometimes it's difficult to get a signal if I'm in a wooded area.

I love mine...I've had mine now 6 yrs with no problems..I would buy another one...

I bought one this year and love it. Looks like you got a good deal. No frills, and basic but it does its job.
