Lots of ice on Port austin's harbor. About 8-12 inches of ice by the looks of it, at least between the two docks. Here are some pic.

here is a picture of the state ramp area and the gas dock is on the right.

A picture of the area west of the wooden dock, note where the shanty is on the ice there is a dredged deeper channel.

Here is a picture of the river mouth of PA and the gas dock which runs along it. It doesn't look like it, but this river produces alot of steelies.

Phew!! When I first saw the title of this thread PA Ice Report, I thought, Oh boy! Now we're gonna hear how the ice in PA is better managed than the ice here in MI........LOL!........sorry, I couldn't resist.

something to add to this. Pillings+kings+Long run=broken line;) ;)

King + Piling + fish swimming sideways and not turning until after the piling, then wrapping line around it and tangling in dock supports = broken line too... :( ;)
