Yes you can walk in to almost all the places. A canoe or small jon is ideal. There are only two places you have to do a pullover to get into so lighter is better. You have until the 10th to get out there and look around if you have the time. Here is a link to the DNR's map of the area, and any others you might want. If you ever want to get together just make a post here or send me a pm. Steve

I do not think they have any posts. That is why I mentioned go light. Canoe is the best way to go. And you really only have to pull the dike to get to the south marsh. The north marsh is accessible by boat from the road to the north. We pulled it once because we came in from the west and 2 paddled and 2 walked the dike. Steve

Dike's? What are these Dike's that you speak of?
I have not hunted there since moving from B.C., but I don't remember having to portage dikes there. From memory, south field, you just launch right into it, same with middle. We used to just walk into the north field.

Nyp doesn't have any post to pull over the deke. What was mentioned earlier there is only one area that would you need to pull over and thats the south marsh. I haven't hunted down there but rumor has that its alot of work. you would be better to pack light and walk in. a canoe is the best option to take there, anything bigger you start taking down too much corn. There are about five zones that are a pretty long walk all the others are a pretty easy walk to get to.

Its all been said here but hust make sure when you are walking to STAY AWAY from the ditches..they are deep! They are fairly well maked and are right next to the boat ramps. If you have questions about their locations ask @ the draw station and they will show you where they are.
