I prefer truglo sights with a tritium pin for hunting

I have the older Optix XR (3 fixed, 1 floating pin) and it is a very nice site. Have not banged it hard on anything yet, but seems durable, but still lighter than most sights. Brightness is no problem with the adjustable rhetostat light.
I would definitely suggest the sight, but I got a really good deal on it, and I honestly probably would never have bought it at full retail. There are plenty of good sights out there for less money. Before I settled on the G5, I was also seriously looking at Sword and Montana Black Gold sights. Theres also Spot Hogg if you don't mind spending the money.

Kudos to TruGlo..The locking screw on my pendulum fell out and I could not find a replacement anywhere...
Emailed Truglu and got a response 1 hr later saying they were sending a replacement today..

Go with the XR2. It's an awesome sight and as mentioned they're local. And it will even fit on a Mathews!!!
I love the one fixed pin and the one floater, it's the ultimate hunting sight IMO.
