Hey everyone. I'm relatively new to the area and have read a lot about the fall Salmon fishing and wanted to give it a try this year. Not looking for anyones secret spot would just like a starting point. I am located in Gladwin and not sure where to go, what to use and when. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

First off welcome to the site:). Look in the surf/pier section. Tips and tricks at the top. Also the NW river section is good for info. I'd say go to any of the major rivers or piers right now on westside(PM,Manistee,Betsie), there's lots of fish that way. Watch and talk to the fisherman. Look for stringers, those are the guys you want to talk to ;)
