Can I get the tagging options clarified for a kid during youth hunt season (only) please:

1. Can a youth hunter shoot an antlerless deer in a DMU that is not open to anterless permits?

2. Can a youth hunter shoot an anterless deer on public land in a DMU that has only private land anterless permits available?

3. Can a youth hunter shoot an anterless deer in a DMU that they have not drawn an anterless tag for?

4. Is a youth hunter able to tag a harvested antlerless deer with any of their tags? (ie...anterless tag, general tag, or restricted tag)

5. Does the weapon a youth hunter uses matter at all whether or not they shoot an antlerless deer?

I'm gonna try to research this further on the DNR website and let you know what I find.

A youth can take ONE deer during this season. Either a buck or antlerless anywhere in the state that is open to hunting. The only time a DMU comes into play is if using a antlerless tag. Then must follow what is on the tag.

1. Can a youth hunter shoot an antlerless deer in a DMU that is not open to anterless permits?
Yes

2. Can a youth hunter shoot an anterless deer on public land in a DMU that has only private land anterless permits available?
Yes

3. Can a youth hunter shoot an anterless deer in a DMU that they have not drawn an anterless tag for?
Under regular license/combo, Yes. Under a antlerless license, No. Only valid for DMU listed on tag

4. Is a youth hunter able to tag a harvested antlerless deer with any of their tags? (ie...anterless tag, general tag, or restricted tag)

Yes

5. Does the weapon a youth hunter uses matter at all whether or not they shoot an antlerless deer?
No

I think that is all correct ? ;)
