I am coming across a few pics with red x's that others can see. I havent had this problem before. Is it a update or something I am missing in my pc software? Thanks

You have to tell me where (preferably with a URL) that you are seeing the red X's and (or) a screenshot.

I see the red X's when I'm trying to post a pic to an email. I'm following the same sequence of steps that I've done in the past successfully.

Had the same problem a few minutes ago. I tried uploading a pic on my post and when I hit saved it came up as a red X. I have never had an issue uploading pics before.

I'm not exactly sure what you're asking for here??? I've tried it on a number of my different posts on a number of different threads.

Basic web page stuff; each message thread will have its own URL. Copy it and then paste into a new message on this thread. That way Steve or anyone trying to help you out can go to the actual thread and see the red X's you are talking about. They can then check the URL to the photo that is showing up as missing and being replaced with the red X and maybe figure out the problem.
That is my take on why they are asking for a URL.

That red X is the url for your album. Post the "Forum Image Code:" from below your image.
NICE PICTURES!

Evidently I'm becoming less computer literate with age. I've tried the above instructions but to no avail. Please give a more detail explanation of your instructions.
Thanx for you help!

P.S.-Thanks for the compliment on my pics.

Open album. Select image and click on it to view. Scroll down 3/4 down the page or so.
Below the image look for the line "Forum Image Code:" click on the box with img. url in it, this will turn the line blue.
Right click on the blue line. A box appears.
Click on "Copy."
Paste this directly to you post by right clicking on you post reply box. When the small box opens like before, select "Paste."

Like this???

I did this and it worked on another thread, but not here. Must be forum doesn't allow pics.
In the "olden days" I used to have to use the image insert icon. I tried posting a pic without using the insert image icon (which your instructions didn't use either) and it worked. I guess we don't need to use that icon anymore...correct?
Thanks for your patience!

Yes, no pics. here. As long as the image tags { } are present we don't need to use the icon. You'll still your picture but it will have the tags on each side of it.
