Foote Dam. any where north of tawas

Anything goin on up towards Foote dam at all. Plan on spending the weekend in tawas, and wouldnt mind if i drove up there to do a little fishing for the day. Or even the pier in oscoda. any info would be greatly appreciated. I do not have a fly rd. but do have a 9ft and 7.5 ft pole. I have never really fished up there, but do have wadders. thanks in advance

A couple more weeks yet for things to turn on up there.Im headed over to the west side next thursday

It's real early for the Au Sable itself, there might be a couple dark fish up by the dam or some fresh ones down in the lower. The piers will be the best place right now.
