Well after years of not being on the big lake I can not sit by and let a chance for a salmon go by. I will be heading up to the PM saturday afternoon to fish on sunday.
Have never tried for salmon in the river and would like to get a bit of info.
Where would I launch the boat? 16foot starcraft
should I place my downriggers on the boat?
besides thundersticks and hot-n-tots should I bring any other baits?
If you care to share a spot you can pm me. I have a gps and could give locations back if I find any.
Sorry for the question just want to make it a fun trip and have a few salmon to smoke and make the 275 mile round trip worth it before the deer season.
Thanks

The river itself is not boat friendly other then drift boat or canoe. You can fish the PM lake. Use the riggers in 30 fow and dipys off the side. Run jplugs and any other big bait such as j13s or spoons.

That would be a "yes" to the above. The PM, being a smaller stream would be a tough go with a boat such as you describe. It is more of a driftboat, canoe, Dryfly Boat type of stream as far was watercraft are concerned.
