treaty ?

I heard that there is a US and Canadian treaty that allows us to commute each others waters while traveling from one US or Canadian destination to an other. Is this true?? and what is the name of the treaty? Thank you. Z

I don't know about a treaty, but if you leave a US port and travel to Canadian waters and back without touching Canadian land, you can come back without reporting or go thru customs. For instance you can leave Marine city and travel up the SCR to Sarnia via the Canadian side of the river and come back as if you never left American waters.
