I have had it with the rain. All my small plots in the low areas have some standing water, not much but enough to annoy me. i planted with cereals (mostly rye) on Thurs and now it has rained for about 12 hours straight-perfect. Any thoughts about going back in a couple of days and reseeding with more rye?? How about throwing in some white and alsike clovers...will that grow enough for first of nov week???? did I mentoion some of my brassica plots are starting to rott b/c of the rain...

It won't hurt to do all of those things! You can add fresh rye seed every few weeks to help keep fresh new growth coming up (sow like 20-30#'s each time) or if time is a concern just broadcast 50-70#'s (or whatever your budget will allow) on top of the moist low ground and add some clover seed while your at it.

I have sown Alice White clover all the way into mid September and had great success! :)
