Looks like a nice sweettooth to me RL and
are an easy ID!

Besides the other keys, if you take a small piece and
chew it, it should havea mild peppery taste similar to a chant.

Tan/ golden/ orange or brown, unscaly cap, white flesh and teeth instead of gills. It's a sweet tooth!

All toothed fungi growing from ground and not wood are edible. One which has a scaly cap like the Dryad saddle tastes like dirt, but is edible. There's one which bleeds red, and is considered poisonous, but it grows from wood. It may "appear" to be growing from the ground though.

Large or old sweetooths can be bitter. Sometimes this can be corrected by removing the teeth.

nice find.
keep track of where it was so you can find them again.
Those hedge hogs are good eatin.

There's a bitter toothed hedge hog and some others are too tough to eat.

Does anyone have a good recipe they would like to share? I've tried them a few different ways and found them sort of bland. I also agree with scraping the teeth off all of them.
