Here is one for ya!!!
Bake the Cajun seasoned bass in a covered, greased glass-baking dish at 400deg for 15 minutes.
Now for the recipe:
1-½ cups flaked fish (the baked Bass)
1-½ cups mashed potatoes (real ones not boxed)
2 tbsp butter
¼ tsp pepper
¼ tsp salt
1 egg, beaten
1 cup buttermilk pancake mix
Mix flaked fish with spuds, butter, pepper, salt and egg. Form into 1in. balls, and roll in pancake flour. Fry in ½in hot oil. Serve with tartar or cocktail sauce!!!!
It takes the real fishiness out of the bass, and makes for some decent eating!

Bass is very good when smoked or pickled. I often use them for a party snack on crackers. See Hors D'ouvers made from panfish recipe. There are several recipes for smoked suckers in this forum that will work well also.
