Hello! I also have been reading the forum for the past couple weeks and couldn't resist joining- good people, great site. The last couple weeks have been good to me for perch on Van Ettan (my wife tells me even a blind squirrel finds an acorn once in a while)- also ran up to Higgins Wed. and got a few perch at the South State Park - couldn't get very far out, didn't like the ice.

I always hear Van Etten Lake has great perch. Any hot spots or advice?
