Group of boletes [Archive] - The Michigan Sportsman Forums

I didn't have my camera with me tonight, but saw a very interesting group of LARGE boletes emerging from the ground. Had large, round caps that were very gray, almost ashen looking, sort of fuzzy looking stuff on top.

Any ideas? Very odd.

The only thing that comes to mind is "the Old Man of the Woods"
Other than that, I'd have to see a picture.
