Saginaw Bay

So whats going on with Saginaw Bay?
Hope to make it up there soon and there are no reports.
Must be so good nobodys talking.

Haven't heard any good reports on the bay.Was there fri.& sunday north of the pine about a mile.Friday the perch were there but sunday you had to keep mobile to pick up a few decent fish.

too many small perch! I have seen a trophy pike in my hole allready this year. We also seen alot of Bass, one that looked like another trophy!!!!!! Every report Ive heard has not been good! The ones that are if you ask some questions youll find out there are keeping pretty small perch!!!!

I just talked to a few of my friends and they got their limit out of great lake shores marina (Sagatoo Rd.) They were out about 1/2 of a mile and said russian hooks worked best with a white bead. They said the perch liked the mousies, but wouldnt take a minnow.

I always like russian hooks, sometimes, they'll be the only thing that takes the perch. The problem is, i lossed all of mine, and can't find a store that has em', not even cabelas!!! I figure someone must have these, they are great lures!

I have a few, tend to get bit off while fishing in marinas by pike but I got mine at Franks Great Outdoors in Linwood.
