Well to tell you the truth Riverboy I am kind of hoping for open water again. You can cover a lot more water in a boat. If it is ice though I will manage. When I am there feb.3-8 I will be by myself the first 4 days so maybe we can set something up to fish together a day or so. I plan on being on the river everyday daylight until dark. I am determined to weigh a fish in this year, if not i should be able to catch a few good eaters. My Saginaw bay and lake Erie stock is about gone.

Good Fishing

hey that sounds good!!!! Ill be working that week but I can sneak out at 3. that gives me a couple of hours of fishing. Best time anyways during the so called magic hours! drop me a PM or a email a few days before you come up, and lets plan on it!!!!!!

I think it was 1995 I weighed in a 8 lber on the opening day of the tourney. I was only in the top 25 for maybe a week. I think the biggest that year was over 13lbs. One of these years I hope to place in the top 10!!!!!!!!

Sounds like a plan to me. My wife has to be in Saginaw all that week for a training seminar so I will be arriving feb. 2 and staying until the 8th. I will let you know a few days in advance so I can find out if there is ice or if I need to bring the boat.

Good Fishing
