I found this wireless "Strike Sensor'' that sends a signal from a transmiter to a beeper .If your fishing pal wants in you can buy extra transmiters that sends a signal to your beeper. I've been using the system for about a year now and love it. In fact another buddy just picked it up from Gndr Mnt after fishing with me a few times.

They allow you to set up the tip-ups and forget about them until you get a page. I've been known to just set up the tips up and then nap in the shanty until I get an alarm, when at lakes that aren't worth fishing for the panfish.

If you use a lot of tip-ups and hate having to keep an eye on them then you might want to look into them.
