White Sox loose, still 3 games up on Chicago and 5 on Minnasota:D
I hope they can manage a split in Boston.

Even though we lost, it was a good game to watch. The Tigers were in it until the very end, and one small bounce or call could've made or broke that game for them. That's playoff baseball right there, and to be within one run of a tie with a Boston Red Sox team that has to reclaim their pride after a mercy killing, I say we're in good shape.

Agreed, if we can split this series with them I think we are in good shape. Three out of four would be nice though.

I believe the Tigers left 8 or 9 guys in scoring position last night. Not gonna win against Boston or any other top tier teams doing that.

That seems to be the case in most games... they get men on, but don't do anything with it... over and over and over again

1-9 with runners in scoring position. Granderson with some of the worse at bats I've ever seen.

The Tiggers got 5 runs on Brad Penny, just wait til you have to face beckett and buchholz, its not going to be pretty....I see Red Sox winning 3 of 4 !!! You are just lucky you will miss lester!

At least they didn't get embarrassed on ESPN. Tough game to lose, but need better pitching if you want to win - Jackson hasn't looked good in his last two road starts.
