I agree, those are some older Frosts for sure
and the pores are supposed to blue like that rather quickly.
They are one of the most cool looking boletes
there is imo, especially when a little younger.

They were really cool, I left about 20 more in various stages. Audubon says edible but caution... I wouln't try though.

They can cause stomach upsets in some people from what I've read before. I nibbled one out of curiosity last week in the woods, and it was pretty nasty anyways. They are my favorite shroom to look at. I would put them in a garden if they would stay longer:lol:.
