I realize this seems a little early, but the family (in-laws & all)
wants to reserve a camping site for the summer and I thought of trying a new place. Has anyone ever stayed at the Burt or Mullet lake area? Was wondering how the campgrounds are(hook-ups, ect.) & if a person could catch a fish there by accident? What would be the best time of year?

Thought of Hubbard Lake area, but the map doesn't show any campgrounds there.

Info. greatly appreciated.:)

we've stayed at Burt Lake State Park before and it's pretty decent as far as state parks go. It's right on Burt Lake with a good launch. There's a Yogi Jellystone Park about 6 miles or so east of Indian River that's one of our favorites. It has full hookups, pool, nice playground, etc. and lots of kids activities throughout the day. It is a short drive to the lakes though. Aloha State Park is on Mullet Lake. Has a nice beach and good launch their also.
