went out trout fishing tonight and i took along a freind of mines kid. he has never gone trout fishing and the only fish he has ever caught are a few tiny blue gills in his uncles pond. we went out and fished for a few hours with out a single fish just as we were getting ready to call it he hooked in to a nice 12 inch rainbow. the look on his face and the excitement he went through fighting it in made the trip priceless in my book. he was so happy he caught his first trout and it was a keeper. on the way home he made me bust out laughing when he apologized for catching the only fish, and i told him being able to take him out and to give him the opportunity to catch his first trout was worth more to me than catching 100 trout definately a great night and was a pure joy getting him out there and letting him hook in to his first trout ever.
