growing in the leaves.no wood.didnt smell like anus,er,anise.

looks like some type of clitocybe to me.

Well, if it smells like anus it definitely ain't an oyster. LOL! but, the larger one does have the look, from afar. Clitocybe type shrooms can have light colored spore prints and smells similar to the oyster too, so I'd have to look at the gills mainly to get a better idea.

i did find a huge fruiting of oysters growing in the lawn last year, so they don't necessarily need wood.

Prolly some decaying wood debris under ground, or even old roots!
