Spent a little time on the water at a new spot today.

Saw a TON of carp and selectively shot a few, including 1 dogfish.

I think next time I'm gonna actually pull the trigger on a booner...We'll see what happens when I'm attached to a pissed off ball of fury with only 6 foot of line:)

Your post says White Lake...are you on the West side or the East side of the state?

6 foot cords are for wimps...try shooting them with a homemade speargun and no string!! Once you hit one, you have to swim hard to get to it...luckily they usually swim in circles when they have an arrow sticking out of one side.

If you are on the West side, I would love to check out a new spot, and I have a couple to share. Only been out once this year, and lost my last arrow.
