Lobsters? YES! I've never found em myself, but I can say with 100% certainty that's what they are. Some folks say you should know what mushroom they parasatized incase it was a poisonous shroom, but I've never heard a case of that happening, so...?

The bottom left shroom in the first pic of boletes is Frost's bolete. It's considered an edible bolete, but it breaks every single one of Kuo's rules. I've found them, but never tried em.

The shroom in the lower right of the second pic of boletes appears to possibly be Suillus pictus. Can't say for 100% though, but it's a lead for ya.

Those sure look like volemus milkies, heavy white latex that doesn't turn yellow and stains brown. Tight close gills. The stem coloration looks about right. I won't say for 100% that's whatcha got though without seeing the top of the cap.

Can't say for sure on the hedgies/ sweettooths. I can't see that pic very well.

You guys keep givin me mushroom fever and every time I go out I get skunked.

Ok I tried again, but its still not a good shot but you can see the teeth, and the color of the top is a lite fading orange
I found 6 of these in an easy to relocate spot!

HI BD
That last one is an older sweet tooth imo.
They get brittle as they age.

On the lobsters, I find a few every year and only around bta's.
Good ones are white on the inside and firm.
Here's a good read that mentions prep.ect.

I did not eat those lobsters, they seemed a bit on the old side, soft, crumbly, but what do ya think, should I spread these where I know the Lactarius and Russula's grow?
Maybe I can seed these?

Found something STRANGE today, I see alot of Bolete's that are covered with white mold, You know what i mean if you have been out there, but today i found what seem to be Bolete's with what apears to be the LOBSTER crust?
It appeared that the MOLD and the LOBSTER were in direct competition with each other to get to the Bolete's 1st?
Has anyone seen this?
No camera really sucks! My new phone will have 1 soo I wont be without for long!
Did find 1 more actuall Lobster too, sorry tho because its a camera phone pic! But its in fine shape, firm, fresh no soft spots!
