First time Canoe buyer..??

I'm looking at a 16' Aerocraft fiberglass canoe, I can get it cheap. I would think Aluminum would be a lot stronger and hold up better in the River, but the price is reasonable. what do you guys think? Pros & Cons.

Check Craigslist, you can get a good deal on an aluminum one.

I'm biased but if you can find a used Grumman for a decent price, grab it. I bought a 1973 17' Grumman back in 1989 and it is still going strong.

I bought it, I took it on a test run on my pond last night..We did pretty well, and stayed dry..:lol:
