A couple of years ago my neighbor got tired of folks "missing the multipul no tresspassing signs " and put out a crap load ( thats alot ) of what I later called the "Scarepatrol " they were scare crows but in hunter orange hats or shirts .
They even made one that would move with a branch and rope it was funny as heck to see the "non visual " hunters walk so far and then suddenly see a "hunter" and they would spin heel and move on .:yikes:
On my land I have the famous "If you can read this your in range" signs :evilsmile
love it doubtndude, you can dress mine also. i have them out all season:lol:

I do like the idea especially for private land.
If it has a hole in it you know not to sit there. :D
Yes, That is me on HIS left.
Mind you , these guy's were stuffed for the last 6 mo. hopefully people will get educated enough to realize that you obviously put him in that spot for a reason,it's a good spot ,and hunt it instead of steal it or destroy it . Yes private land is the best use for it
I suggest useing ten mile orange on him to help keep people away, they might see him from a distance and think you are already there, and go some place else

The red necks around my hunting area would probably steel it, take it home and have there way with it:yikes:
I think it is a great tactic to use. For deer that can pick out a hunter in stand.

I see the idea, but what do you do with it when you go out to hunt? If you leave it somewhere up in the tree it will be a larger area for deer to spot. on the ground another new object for deer to see. . . I dont want to make several trips in the morning and evening to store it in the truck either. . jus wondering. .

plus, why in the hell would you pay someone for something you can do yourself with a 20 dollar pair of coveralls and some straw?
didnt mean to let your "seceret" out of the bag.
but i bet yours lasts longer!
how much does this dummy cost?
as far as your ,is there any interest in your product question.
im sure that there are plenty of dumasses that would buy your scarecrow.

Ummm "warrant me to proceed with my idea." heck your already at outdoor shows hocking this thing... Its SPAM,, but i also havent laughed this hard in a long time... I know ive seen you and your partner before,, just cant remember what episode of cops that was!!
not trying to spam. honestly trying to see what intrest is out there. i have a few thousand bucks wrapped up in this. yes there are people buying him. usually there is just enough ground cover to hide him laying on the ground. i hunt mostly private land but they are small 10-20 acre lots, and rarely has anyone wallked up on me .so i don't expect many people would even see huntinbuddy anyhow
to 'bigsablemike' i have used coveralls . that was my first 'buddy'. it worked for the first season ,but was pretty beat up.i gave up on it for a few years.now i have gotten older (53) i hunt more on the ground, don't like climbers(to much exersize) not real fond of highth's either. now huntinbuddies are made of tent material in different camo styles

We did the same thing one season just to fool the neighbor we were feuding with.:D
It does work , with proper care, mine will last you many years. and my standard model doesn't cost that much more than a pair of coveralls

Although I personally wouldn't be interested in it, I'm sure there's a market for it as you've already indicated. I give you credit for thinking outside the box and wish you nothing but good luck in your endeavor.

We used to put a dummy up in a stand that deer would always pick us out while hunting. It did work, but the deer knew that the dummy did not move. The second you even moved one inch, the deer would pick you out and stare you down until they thought things were safe again, then if you moved, yup, you guessed it, there was a staring contest again. I actually thought it to be good fun, but in this particular stand, I do not remember ever killing a deer out of.
