Generally with clear water, silver, copper, and brass with red beads seem to be good. Halographics are good too.

Tan\Khaki colored blade(spoon) with 4 red spots on it in box formation. Red beads above it.
I have so far gone 4 for 4 on catching something on a fishing trip with this rig, with a small muskie my last outing.

looks like similar colors that work on Erie. is there a big hatch of the fish flies on LSC? if so, try all gold.....gold beads and hammered gold blades.....a staple on Erie for us. especially during "the hatch".
red beads with gold or copper hammered blades and purple beads hammered copper blades have been good as well.......on Erie, but may be worth a try.
if you are making your own harnesses, find a craft store for the beads. i picked up 1500 5mm gold beads for $2 this spring at Crafts2000 in Monroe.
later.....good luck.......experiment with different color patterns and you may find one that no one else is using, but works for you. (then tell us what it is.....)

Last few trips up there it was pretty steady on copper and red beads. The last run was pretty good on green holographics with red beads. Already had a few purples made up Ed with a gold bead in the middle. ;) Will post the results when I get back tomorrow.;)

We just came in from near the shipping channel on lake SC. Our purple blade caught everything from Jumbo perch, walleyes, rock bass and a big a.s.s small mouth. That was the only line getting fish. We got our butts kicked though…….. the wind picked up and we had to battle 3ft waves :help:

We picked up 5 fish for the morning. 2 small fish on the purple and gold beads/green holographics and 3 on red beads. Red beads produced the bigger fish.
