Elk Hunt Info

My Dad was lucky enough to get his Elk permit this year and was wondering if we can please get as much info as possible. I fiqured this would be THE site to ask on! He is looking for info on what land is available, private and state, and where the Elk has been ranging in Oct. private land owner contacts in Northern lower and such. Again, we are looking for as much info as we can get! Pm if you feel it necessary. I want this to be his hunt of a lifetime, since it will probably be his last big hunt.:(

I don't know anything about elk hunting but I know I saw one biggg bull this morning just south of wolverine off I-75, at least a 5x5, I think it was already a 6x though
