I think I am doing everything right planers 2 at 40 and and down rods 8-16 at 15-20 whos knows i guess you just have to find them.

Dont give up. Those tough days will pay off good. Last August I was musky fishing by myself, started out at 8:00am and didn't get the skunk out until about 6:30pm, and the biggest musky i ever caught had to of been over 30lbs. Didnt have tape or scale, got sea sick and puked all over it. After a took a photo I quickly sent her back where she belonged.; We run our baits anywhere from no weight to 3oz. sinkers on board rods to 160z sinkers on down rods, try different set ups. Another hint look for off colored water (greenish to relatively muddy water) muskies like dirtier water, probably so they they can hide and not be noticed by the smaller fish. If the water your in is clear then your not muskie fishing, your musky wishing.

Were you on MM? They drove past us by Grassy in the evening on their way home. I thought I saw your shirt on their boat?
