Alright need a few opinions

Heading out on a boat tommorow from water street around 9 or so in the AM. I know where I am going to go in the evening for whipping. Ok do I start jigging first thing because I think it will be to late by then myself or should i head out to the mouth and drag harnesses. I am torn half dozen of 1 6 of the other what would you do.

try both...dragg harnesses for a 30 mins or so if nothing throw out a jig....this time of the year is mainly harnesses..BUT u still can pull limits on jigs

I’ve been doing real well pulling harnesses. Just as long as the wind wasn’t blowing me to fast down the river, my boat is like a sail…..:rolleyes:

If the winds too fast for drifting just troll downstream. Then once you locate a few run up and back through em. If they stop hitting but you know theres fish there, go to the jig and get a few more out of the school. Trolling will cover water and find fish quicker. Then change up your presentstion to get the ones looking for a slower bait.

well got out at 6"30 or so and picked up 7 dragging harnesses 4 on purple 2 on red 1 on green nothing on jigs.all fish caught at mouth and then when the sun popped out nada. Went south by the black jigging and dragging harnesses to get no more. All in all a great day and thanks for the opinions and tight lines to all. Think next is casting twisters again and or whipping got a few more layoff weeks coming and I need more freezer space filled up.
