My buddy was one of the lucky ones to get a bull tag for the Sept. hunt:yikes:! What a LUCKY dog!!!! I'm going on the hunt with him and want to video his hunt and just take part ! My question is what guide does he go with? Any phone #'s and names of good guides will help. Where did you guys stay at? What kind of $$$ are we talking? I'm just trying to point him in the right direction and get some info because he is out of state now and I saw that people wrote about these guides booking up fast! Thanks for the help! Mike;)

I've heard nothing but good things about him. Contact the gaylord DNR office too.
I would not hesitate to spend some decent money on a good guide cause it's one of those once in a lifetime chances, besides what is a trip to colorado or anywhere else out west gonna cost????

Make sure the guide isnt one of the road hunting guides.
A guide is now cheaper than taking several scouting trips. Should be about $500-$600. Money well spent.

DNR should be able to get you a list of guides. Good luck!
