Does anyone know where I can get the most up to date information on public land for hunting and fishing in the Tuscola County area?

Check out the DNR website for maps of public game and recreation areas. Also, plat maps are available from the County or MSU Cooperative Extension.

If your looking specifically at a newly aquired stateland parcel, contact the DNR Real Estate Division with the legal discription and they can tell you the current status of the property.

As a side note, once you obtain plat map info on Tuscola County, try referencing the plat map with a topo map at www.topozone.com. This can really help in narrowing down the areas that you want to scout.
