Need turtle bait

Do you have a way of storing them until season starts?

i freeze them whole in a plastic bag then cut them in half with a saw when ready to use 2 to 3 baits out of 1 carp i only need about 10 or 12

Why do you want to catch turtles? I mean, we used to catch some huge alligator snapping turtles in Texas, where I grew up, just for fun. Fun is a good enough reason, I was just wondering if there was any other reason.

I always thought they only used sea turtles for soup, but I looked around and snapping turtles are just as popular. Learn something new every day.
