the did well in kneff lake, but didnt reproduce.....fun while it lasted.

the ones in kneff lake are no longer their???
got lucky years ago was fishing trout with my father camping on kneff lake and he caught a grayling was the prettiest fish i have ever seen. we got a picture of him with it holdin it in the water so not to harm it and then released it. we thought they were reporducing in the lake

Kneff, ...its been years since grayling were in there, 3-4 years ago the DNR "killed off" the lake for stunted bluegills and bass so the lake woudl be a rainbow trout only lake, they did such a bang up job you know can catch a blue gill in every cast all along the shoreline!!! Bass are in there too, along with some very skittish bows, most ly caught by crazy methods well into dark!. Nice lake though.

I wonder how many on M.S..com have actually caught a grayling in michigan. I caught well over a hundred, probably a couple hundred. They were actualy a nuisance when we fished rainbows there in the early 90's. 15" was my best. Of course we had to release all of them.

1-is all I caught about a 9-10 incher, only time I ever fished it.
