Got on the ice about 2 and fished until almost dark. There is approximately 4 to 4 1/2 inches of ice where I fished, straight out in front of the public access. I noted several snowmobiles and quads running across the lake. Took home 6 gills , 7 1/2 - 9" and threw back about 20 dinks.

Fished again today from 10am to 1pm. 15 to 20 guys out there today, set up shop in about the same spot as last time. Brought home 6 decent gills and 2 very nice specs. Wax worms on a large teardrop eyeball bait.

Welcome to the site !!!
Have you fished out from Mar-Bills marina, two friends of mine like to go out there on first ice( lots of springs), or the hole in the wall (lake - 4)

Fished Pine today from 830 to noon. Weather fantastic! Fishing kinda slow. Mangaged only 6 eater gills but what a nice way to spend a beatiful morning. Ice still at 5" with about an inch or so of snow on top, sure to be water on the ice by this pm.

Sorry drake, guess this thread had scrolled off the page and I never seen your reply. Thanks for the welcome, Ive been fishing in lake 2 off the public launch. There has been guys fishing in 1 off the marina , mostly the night bite for crappies I believe.
