Fished Metro by the boat docks 6" of good ice. lots of people and all the 6" perch you want. Still looking for the larger perch / I also went to the swamp or boat launch sied. Talking with people they stated it slowed down due to the pike they (saw) crusing the area. I don't spear but might be a good bet for those that do. >))))*< ~ good luck

I TO FISHED METRO THURS. AT DOCKS NORTH BASIN FROM 730 TO 1100 WATER WAS CLOUDY. ICE WAS 4-6 CAUGHT ABOUT 15 6- 10 INCHERS REALLY HAD TO WORK IT TRYED FISH EYES WORKED OK CONSIDERING THE CONDITIONS. WILL BE BACK AT IT SAT MORN.:)

Fished over by the boat launch and the water was very cloudy. No action to speak of.

Pike, that explains alot. I marked a few fish that just didn't move above 30' from my hole. I thought about pike but dismissed it. I also had a guy near me in a shanny. After he left I noticed he had holes you could swim in. He must of been spearing.
