Tipsico lake?

Has anyone been to Tipsico in the last couple of days. I'm thinking of giving it a try and need to know how the ice is. I use a 4 wheeler to tow my shanty. Also I have never fished there before, how are the chances of spearing pike and can someone point me in the right direction?

you might want to think again about spearing on tipsico. its illegal to spear there.

Thanks for saving me from myself. But I would have had a heck of a time enjoying my ignorance. That is right up until the time the DNR would give me a costly education.

Be careful for some reason Tipsico doesn't freezover quickly or evenly, there have been some accidents here in the past.
