Does anyone out there ever mail order for wax worms or other bait? I was on a couple of web sites earlier, one of them www.wholesalebait.com. You can buy wax worms from a couple places for about $20.00/1000. Thought this might be a good idea then keep them in the garage or something.
Any other suggestions?

Just thought I would pipe up on this one! Not sure how many wax worms you use, but I sell a lot of them. I don't order them bulk because they don't have a very long shelf life. 2-3 weeks usually is average. Not sure what luck you other guys are having with them. If you know a trick to keep them alive let me know. Thanks! Keep your tip up and your bait wet! Good Luck!! Mike:cool:

I was keeping mine in cool not freezing, place and putting some corn meal in the container. I had much better luck keeping them alive. I think I had some that lasted over a month and they do get very plump.

I keep them cool. 40-50 degr. They stay good till spring. Some occasionally die, take them out immediately.
