I'm looking for a little advice on the best setup for catching perch on inland lakes.
I was fishing for gills on Croton Pond in Newaygo Co. this weekend and happened to catch a nice sized perch....I think I'm addicted.
I'm looking for best water temps, depths, type of bait, trolling?, jigging?, bobbers? minnows? worms? and any other info that you might be willing to share.
Thanks in advance.
Also, if you have any favorite lakes in Kent/Newaygo/Montcalm counties that you wouldn't mind recommending.
Brian
