Looks like it will be a while before fishing can resume on Muskegon lake, I took a run by Snug Harbor this morning (earliest part of the lake to freeze) and there was very little ice. Winds earlier this week took a toll along with moderate temps - 40 degrees right now. The good news - at least for me is that Hubbard Lake is now completely frozen over with 8 - 10 inches in the bay and south end, and 2-4 across other parts of the lake. Cold temp continue to be prodicted through the rest of the week and more ice should be on the way (Thank you East Bay Ed!). For those interested in more up-to-date info on Hubbard lake check www.fishhubbardlake.com. I'm heading up there the 29th and hope to see some of you there:cool:
