My boat is rigged with wiring to have graphs mounted in 3 locations (from the factory). I can see where having the screen(s) in the bow, at the console and at the stern can be helpful depending on what is being fished for and how many people in the boat. Is it common to rig multiple fish finders/ multiple transducers?

I'd say yes it's common to to have mutple finders

Most people have a screen at the console or driving postion with the tranducer in the stern,
And another finder on the bow with the tranducer on the front trolling motor.

Lowrance 522c on the bow with the ducer on the trolling motor. Humminbird side finder on the dash with the ducer on the transom. Works well for me and many others.

Or you can use 1 transducer and a network system and multiple same brand graphs.

I have 3 also. Only thing to watch out for is some cause interference with the others. In deeper water (25'+) I get some vertical lines if all of them are on. Noise reduction helps a lot, but it seems best to shut off the ones I am not using.
