Haven't fished Portage in quite a few years but I used to spend alot of time there.

Walleye: Try the Sturgeon River or the area of the mouth. Troll small rapalas or else anchor in the river mouth and cast crawlers/minnows and slowly retrieve. Chassel Bay should also produce quite a few walleye trolling the south shoreline by the houses in 8-15 feet of water.

Pike: Should be quite a few pike in the shallow bays. Try large suckers under a bobber.

Salmon: Decent bite for small kings down at south entry. Try trolling a variety of spoons and crankbaits inside the breakwall.

Good luck-
