Walleye in SWM

I am looking for a river or lake to shore fish for walleye, anyone have any suggestions as far as location (I will drive up to 45 miles one way) and baits? I was thinking Allegan dam??? Thanks!

Walleye are being caught out of Maple in VB, not sure on the size.:sad:
