Guys I was asked today if there was a place to buy RR seed corn at quantities less then the traditional bag size. Any ideas I think this guy was looking for 1/2 to 1 acre amounts.

I'm not sure why but when I got my seed from PF this year it came in a smaller 30# bag. Last year it was either a 40 or 50... I never thought that they made them that small but I guess they do. BTW- it was Dekalb.

Why are you buying RR corn? Joining Pheasants Forever for $30 a year allows you to get seed from them, in some cases free. A PF membership for someone interested in wildlife habitat is a great investment. Either way you are a part of the best conservation organization and you get the benefit of seed. Their corn seed is discard, but not with any noticeable deficiencies.

I am really surprised you had any germ problems. I plant PF corn and have never had any problem. In fact I planted some production corn right next to a PF food plot years ago and took photos for our PF display. No one could tell the difference between the two. All of the PF corn I have seen in the last ten years has been great.
